PLANNING TIME
  • Make the Master Schedule to Include All Packages and All Aspects of Project
  • Establish Critical Path
  • Repeat the Process for Each Identified Packages (Sub Projects).
  • Establish Monthly / Weekly Targets

MONITORING RESOURSES
Material
  • Ensure Samples/ Proposals for the use of material Submitted as Scheduled
  • Analyze price bid on the basis of prime cost, bid negotiation and preparation of adjudication report
  • Ensure Orders are placed as Scheduled for Long Delivery Items and Regularly for Items Consumed Daily
  • Keep Tab on Quantity Received and Consumed

  • Check Numbers Deployed
  • Machinery Mobilized as Scheduled
  • Keep Tab on their Individual Performance (Productivity) & Break Down
PLAN QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEM
  • Develop Project Specific Specification of Works
  • Scrutiny Correctness & Adequacy of Specification of Works
  • Specify Mandatory Tests and Frequency
  • Specify Facilities for Field Laboratory
  • Specify Approved List of Makes of Compatible Origin
  • Specify Tolerances as Applicable
ENFORCE QUALITY CONTROL • 
  • Setup Field Lab with all Testing Facilities Prescribed
  • Identify and Approve Out Side Agency (Laboratory)
  • Conduct Tests of Material as Per the Frequency of Tests in the Specification
  • Conduct all Site Inspection (Pre & Post) with the aid of Check Lists – Approve/Reject. 
  • Record all Inspection Report on Quality and Preserve
COST CONTROL
  • At Tender Stage Analyze Cost for Each Item and Determine Prime Cost to Act as Base Line for Tender Negotiation.
  • Work Out Quantities Correctly from Tender Drawings
  • Work Out Bench Marking for Cost of a Module (A Particular Stage of Work)
  • On Receiving GFC Drawings Work Out Quantities, Compare to that of Tender Drawings Act as the Revise Cost or Act Appropriately (Take Action to Reduce the Cost) as the Situation Demands
  • At the Execution Stage Compile Data on Reaching the Predefined Stage
